We are delighted to welcome our new 4-H Educator, Allen Fawley. His first day in the OSU Extension Office in Hocking County is September 4, 2019. We hope you take time to stop in during the Hocking County Fair and introduce yourself to our newest team member. A little background information on Allen follows.

My name is Allen Fawley and I am excited to be joining the OSU 4-H Team. I am from southern Ohio and grew up in a small town called Blanchester.

I graduated from Kent State University with a BA in Psychology. My passion has always been parks and recreation and therefore I obtained my MA in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management from Clemson University. Previously, I worked for the Salvation Army Ashland Kroc Center in Ashland, Ohio where I was the Director of Business Management, and previously the Program Director.

I have vast experience developing and implementing programs and I hope to help grow the 4-H Program here in Hocking County. My wife Jenna and I have three children, (Carson (7), Ezra (5), and Aria (4) and cannot wait for them to be a part of 4-H. I believe the programs we do in 4-H help our children become strong independent adults and I look forward to helping the Hocking County community.
